Common questions
Do we need ISO 45001 to win government work?
For building and construction work, prequalification schemes expect third party certified quality, environmental and safety systems on larger contracts. Queensland Government PQC sets the bar at one million dollars, other states run equivalent schemes, and private principals increasingly mirror them. ISO 45001 is the safety leg of that set, and Averon can deliver it standalone or as part of an integrated system.
How long does certification take?
It depends on your starting point and size. A focused small to mid sized business typically reaches certification readiness in months, not weeks, because the standard requires evidence the system has operated. The gap assessment gives you a dated plan in the first weeks of the engagement.
